re: great time to start to accumulate I agree with you (read my last post) about the resouce sector and infrastructure. I used to be with an investment bank and now work for myself. I am finding my friends all talking about oil and resources. The media is also making this sector front line news. I know educated people in the investment industry who are really getting into the overweight in the oil/resource area now. My feeling is this is the late stages and if you aren't invested in oil/resources now, you missed out. As for mcg, someone will have to explain to me how 6% yield on a growth infrastucture is not a good investment. I preach stops, diversify, CAPM, ROE and discounted cashflow at the WACC.
18% of my portfolio is mcg.
