In short, Energia has a high grade zinc mine in Gorno, Italy. It was a successful operating zinc mine for many many moons that wad closed by the Italian govt in the 1980s to divert manpower to the oil boom. Subsequently, there is much infrastructure in place, water and tailings is not an issue and very low capex of about $60M. A revised resource statement is due next month as a lead in to the delivery of the DFS in March. Energia released a statement a few weeks ago, saying the DFS was on track and will be out in March.

The advantage of Energia of course is that it is a proven zinc mine with good grades going into production in about a year when the zinc price will be in a kind place. Few are in this position. Do some research for yourself, but EMX is by far my pick for 2017, with major catalysts being resource upgrade in Feb, DFS in March, financing soon after, protestation or production and no doubt further drilling and then production early next year.
