    Hi all,
Doing a bit of research while it's quiet and found this gem which might explain the buying yesterday:

    "August 29th 2014
    From Radio New Zealand

Sale of Gold Ridge Mine to Solomons nearly done

The Australian based owner of the Gold Ridge gold mine in Solomons Islands, St Barbara, has confirmed the sale of the mine to the Solomons government is being completed.

The company would not disclose the terms of the transfer, saying negotiations are still underway but said it would not play any further part in the operation of the mine."

Maybe it's further progressed than last reported and it can get rid of the mill stone.

That and the improving cash flow would help stall off the $250m note holders who were talking T/O through restructure of the company. Scary s*!t!

    GL...we might need it
