The $257k would be gone already I would think in salaries for workers. What constitutes trading while insolvent is it based on cash in the bank or asset valuations? If it were assets then book value would be well above sale value. I dare say if I were a prospective investor / buyer of the company I would just hold off and starve them into a fire sale but I sincerely hope this does not happen as I feel the right money spent could see this resource become not just an asset but a profitable income provider.
