ill post anyway....taken on my phone because i was too stuffed to pull out the good camera. view from near the top of yellow mountain - still had a couple of ks to go then downhill from there - 12kms for a total of approx 18 all up - shame there was a lot of cloud about and believe it or not some smog. when the views cleared and when one was able to view the scene with some clarity of mind and ignoring the searing pain in the legs the views were spectacular. further down the mountain however i couldnt giove a stuff about the views - just wanted to get through the blinding agony of very shakey legs (try having a leak standing up with legs of jelly and knives running through the calves)
good experience tho and i have the medal to prove i was there
