Of what use is a seat in the Israeli parliament for an arab except to provide that position holder with money and privileges? (These positions of course are useful to Israeli zionist jews as fodder for sham arguments in their propaganda wars.)

If you are an arab member of the Knesset and actually try to do something about the criminal human rights violations carried out by Israel against your fellow Palestinians then something like this might happen: Palestinian Knesset Member Haneen Zoabi was appallingly abused by fellow parliamentarians when giving her account of events on the Gaza flotilla in May this year and she has now been stripped of her parliamentary privileges.
