They are paying their debts on time. Where they are challenged is refinancing rather large loans in the current ugly climate. If the banks (or anyone) does not want to refinance CNP are at end. It is however not in the interests at of the banks to do this at all - they will be left holding the bath water without the baby. Why not refinance the loans if CNP has a sound operating business generating regular income that is paying off the loan requirements. Banks are in the business of making money not is saying "ohh ahh" I am not going to lend to anyone at all, including those that are meeting loan repayments. The banks of course will need to join hands and agree to go into this together - this is where GR needs to work the hard yards.
