I see two options:
1. ANZ merger/takeover/JV with AMP. They need AMP more that the other banks to boost wealth management abilities(their JV with ING is a bit of a flop IMO). All the other banks will be pretty well set up in wealth management if NAB gets AXA.
2. AMP takes over Suncorp and sets itself up at the fifth pillar in Australian banking.
IMO you can't go too wrong in holding AMP and SUN over the next 12 months.
