No love for someone that agrees to all conditions on a low ball offer for an asset everyone knows is worth much much more. Stinks of desperation to me.
The bid conditions SDL board agreed to on the offer of 57c (which GJ previously said they wouldn't agree to) are a joke to be frank. He said this on 3 August but obviously it doesnt take much to change George's mind.
``We're fundamentally not opposed to the concept if they get the numbers right and drop the conditions,'' Mr Jones told reporters at the Diggers and Dealers mining conference in Kalgoorlie today.
He said the conditions were unacceptable to the board and complex discussions continued with Hanlong to make the proposal more palatable to shareholders.
