No I never said Knox did a great job of taking the sp down - he should have done something much much earlier and obviously they should not have paid a dividend like they did.
I held STO for years but exited all my oilers late last year and bought back in again a couple of months ago so I am not feeling the pain - but management's decisions took the company's sp down by giving a free ride to shorters and Knox is gone for it. At least mums and dads still have their company - it hasn't been flogged off to some Sheik and Santos gets the opportunity to deliver what it's long envisaged - that's not spin - and if they had of taken the $6.88 how would that have been better for mums and dads who would have been forced to sell for a loss gttrain - spin that
