no market premium on rio

Its starting to look like Rio stock holders will be better off taking BHP's offer.

What happened to the premium? What does this say about what the market thinks of the take-over succeeding.

Tom has to be coming under increasing pressure from shareholders, surely. He's got to start asking himself does he want to be part of a Russian, Brazilian or Anglo-Australian mega miner. Standing alone for much longer is a shrinking option.

Is he thinking about his own ego & kudos and that of his board or is he thinking about the well being of the shareholders.

Time for Marius to step up a gear, and get into the ears of those Rio shareholders again.
