A cross post for those interested, I posted this on HMC.
On the call they eluded to large scale retail and wholesale funds being launched in digital infra in the states. They believe they have the first mover advantage and the digico platform gives them the scale and opportunity to do this.
David expressed high conviction in the size of the market opportunity, almost shocked that they were going to be the first to really go to marekt aggresively. Another interesting comment was that HMC upped their stake in DGT in Dec and he made the comment they would not be selling down, even out of escrow.
The goal in most funds is to be at around 10% of invested balance sheet capital, they are up near 20% for DGT. David believes the ROI is so compelling on DGT they want to leave the capital there. Quite a vote of confidence and pretty interesting commentary.
