Why atomou? Would we be overrun by the teeming hoards, jealous of our high living standard? Will it help to degrade things with mass immigration, or would it make it easier to raise an army?
My own view is that Australia needs a skilled and educated population more than a large one. I'd go further and suggest that this is essential for sustaining the current population.
300k + immigrants per annum contributing to the housing affordability/water/infrastructure crises? How could anyone be so silly as to think like that?
