The irony of the current situation in Kabul is that there is no more international interference in local politics so we have peace in the form of no more killing between Taliban and Afghan national army.
Isn't this the first step of nation building?
Islam has a different system of punishment for misdemeanors but there is PEACE.
We have to respect their destiny regardless if we believe it is right or wrong, good or evil, or whatever we want to spin it. 20 years of debate, pumping $, education and all those freedom institutions came to nought so we need to move on and let them do their thing. Or we can take the high moral ground and go back in to invade them.
