Municipal bonds have nothing to do with the housing/corporate market elchagie, basically all buffet is doing is cherrypicking the best assets, the likes of Ambac will be left with the rubbish and the investment banks will have to keep tipping in order to keep the AAA ratings for this debt and avoid further massive writedowns.
