Today the Senate passed the Foreign Relations Bill.
This new law means the Federal Government will make all decisions on foreign policy and ensures our sovereignty cannot be undermined by state governments or local councils.
It also enables the Federal Government will determine what is and is not in Australia's national interest and can veto agreements which are not, such as Victoria's Belt and Road deal with Communist China.
