no more early retirements ---+++

    Expect governments to abolish a compulsory retirement age. That was of a bygone era - and anyway it fitted in with life exopectancies. The big problem is the average life expectancy is now over 80 for men and 88 for women. So you cannot retire at 55 and have a compulsory retirement age in the 60s. Governments cannot afford to have all the baby boomers retiring. They are not self funded and there is not enough government money to support them in retirement. Instead for many people it will now be work till you can afford to fully fund your retirement, work till you are sacked and you'd better have plenty of money then to support yourself or you'll be on the streets or work till you drop.
