I agree with your comments. I would buy more HDR if I were not already heavily committed.
This is not the first oil field to have teething problems. There is probably a learning curve with regards to production in new areas.
Unfortunately I think a takeover will occur if the price stays where it is now.
Simon Potter can hardly be blamed for problems where HDR is not the operator. It sounds as though a lot of good temporary infrastructure was installed in Uganda. Perhaps he should blow his trumpet a bit more.
