If there's one thing I know about Muslim's - it's that they never forget or turn the other cheek. As an extreme example look at how the Pashtun's still hate the Hazara's after Genghis Khan invaded Afghanistan in the 11th century and left his sons to rule - until they were booted out. The Mongol descendants (Hazara's) still suffer retribution from the Pashtun's to this day; not because of tribalism, but because the Mongol's dared to invade in the first place.

that cycle started long ago and hasn’t let up. You can blame whoever but I think you can safely say that Israel doesn’t trust Palestinians and Hamas hates Israel and now probably rather a lot of Palestinians do so as well
