The best thing to do is to grieve before getting another one. I could not wait to get another one after my Burmese died and I ended up with a scratchy, bitey. mangy, flea ridden kitten from Cat Haven here in WA.

He is now 10 yrs old and it now looks like he will live to 25. A true pest - he bit me just under the eye three weeks and I needed stitches. He loses hair everywhere which make everyone sneeze and my two nieces are scared of him. He does not eat any meat or wet food and only eats Purina full stop. He is dearly loved but is a complete disgrace.

Think before getting another one and decide which type.

I have had many tragedies with my dawgs and cats so I feel for you JC.
