Barry .... Replying to your blatant 'distortions' of the facts, is NOT worth my time, any more I'm afraid. Your denying of your grandson (the other day) epitomises the state you have placed yourself in. Tells lies!!! (Do you NOT have a grandson, Barry ??? LOL !!) - People can make their own coices in relation to LOK, I just post, as I see things evolving, that's all. Each to their ow, I guess.

For any readers on HC who may care, I have just replied to "ergi" on Oze, who had replied to another 'truth distorter', called Lookdumb6. It went like this:

    Hi "ergi" ....

I have only just read your reply to Lookdumb6 and had a chuckle ......... I wondered about your line....

< From what I've seen, LC just posts to himself - his name is ironic, just like yours... >

And I then wondered about your 'nic', checked back and found that you have been in ERG for as long as I have been associated with Looksmart. Both stocks share a similar history, when you consider a comparison with this 5 year chart.

    http://finance.yahoo.com/q/bc?t=5y&s=ERG.AX&l=on&z=m&q=l&c=look

I noted, that you have recently "lost your faith" in ERG and have 'bailed', hoping for a LOWER (.18c), re-entry. Although, you indicate that you are not so sure you should, if ERG should get to that level. It seems you have now aligned yourself with the "buy high - sell low" club, possibly? I have read your reasons for selling, but wonder why you feel that ERG will be 'value' at .18cps and not now?? To fall another .05cps must place the Co in an 'oversold' situation, as you see it, possibly?? Worth an entry then, right?? Yet, at .23cps you see no immediate upside, let alone, a 'turn-around' in Co fortunes.

It's strange how we all see things differently, but I guess that is what makes a market, And, no doubt, (at times), someones 'trash' can definately become someones 'treasure'. I really don't know enough about ERG to comment on your decision being a good one or, not , but your .18c 'value' has me wondering why it becomes a good buy at that stage & not now, other than, well ........ "it's cheap".

But about LOK/LOOK. The "new" poster here on the Ozestock LOK board, Lookdumb6 is not a shareholder. He, like a number of posters (here and on Yahoo) have lost on the stock and seem determined to 'bash' the "crap" out of it, for whatever satisfaction they may gain from doing so. I find them amusing, to say the least. I have always considered ANY investment, a game of percentages. High Risk stocks can provide HIGH rewards, similar as in, any game of chance. You buy your ticket, you get your ride. One way, or, the other.

I note that you told Lookdumb6 that you held LOK stock up until the loss of MSN and in hindsight, you may have been proven wise to have sold immediately after, as the current shareprice is much lower now than, at that time. But along the way, prices have fluctuated. LOK shares are now almost at an ALL TIME low level (cost wise) and the .72cps on 03-May-2005 represented just .036cps, as you once knew it, in the 'old'. Friday's close for LOK (the shareprice) of .91cps represents a 26% profit, for those lucky to have bought @ .72cps! - Had they have sold, on friday. All hyperthetical. But I am simply pointing out that (at times), percentages can be there to be 'gained' by those who take their chances, for whatever reasons. Lookdumb6 (and those other posters I have mentioned) have made ZERO since selling and will continue to do so should Looksmart generally continue it's rise, from being down at these levels. Will Looksmart's shareprice rise further ???

That's debatable. But, IF you understand Looksmart and where they are at, understand the sector, **understand the predicted growth in certain segments of the sector and have read all my posts, then you would have to then possibly agree with me, that LOK's SP have an excellent chance of doing so.

You congratulated Lookdumb6 when you told him:

< I think it is admirable that you are trying to warn people about certain posters who ramp LOK >

And you even offered" < From what I've seen, LC just posts to himself >

So, in spite of your admission, in virtually telling Lookdumb6 that you have not read my posts, how can you then make such a further judgement, as you have? - Is it possible that I may be trying to advise people of a change in Looksmart's fortunes and am giving as much reasons as is possible, as to why those fortunes are now about to change?? - And why HAS the SP risen by over 26%, since it's low of just over 4 months ago?? - A 'dead cat bounce', is what some could only reply. Being those that I feel do not understand, (like Lookdumb6 & yourself), that some other people may happen to see, that Looksmart HAVE made many many fundamental changes that WILL impact positively on their future course and shareholders should do very well, in their doing so, IMO.

But that is the 'gamble' we all take. Value is in the "eye of the beholder", I suppose. - And me ???

Well, I have a different stratergy than you do and that is so obvious. 1stly, I do see a strong turn around taking shape and rather than SELL (at the bottom) I tend to, as some would say, GAMBLE & have 'doubled up' (as they say in the classics) and have now bought 22 parcels at .96cps, or, lower, since 09/05/05 when LOK's shareprice, was $0.87c. - I subscribe to the "buy low - sell high" theory and find it hard to change, no matter what.

Why would I be buying this "donkey" you may ask yourself?? - You need to read my last 12 months of posts here and elsewhere to find that answer, I'm afraid.

Cheers "ergy" & good luck !!

    :)
