I doubt it is anything too sinister, While someone can buy at 2.5 and sell for 2.7 this will carry on. Perpetrators are those selling at 2.5 cents. OK someone could be dropping down a lost leader. looking to pick up more at 2.5 (I can see that happening). If this flushes out a few panic seller. so be it. That is how the market works. Check out the detail board, probably at least a dozen if not more people playing the game.
Could also be someone deliberately keeping the 3 month average SP down prior to an offer. The only players who could sensibly do that would be one, or a consortium of existing major share holders.
It will take a significant announcement or leakage of an offer to break the game. Then it could run to 5 cents in a flash.
My crystal ball is a bit doggy at the moment. I have no idea really :>
