    The JSF contract won't prove the technology since QHL won't be using the Quickstep process to manufacture the JSF parts, they'll be using their autoclaves. The JSF contract will provide the bridge for QHL to transition from R&D company to producer/ manufacturer. The Quickstep process is still going through US military proving process (in JV with Vector Composites) so it could potentially be used in future US military contracts. I believe this is 18 to 24 months away.

    The Quickstep process is most likely to be picked up and used commercially first by the private sector (CTRM or EADS etc). QHL have said they have successfully demonstrated the Quickstep process to CTRM and Airbus etc and they are waiting for them to pick up the technology.

    Happy to be proven wrong on this but that is my understanding.
