Biden's Democates (the Socialists) in the US are now apparently trying to have the use of gas stoves/cook tops stopped (wonder how all the chefs will feel about that?). The use of all fossil fuel (Coal/Gas & Wood) is clearly now in their sights. (So those who enjoy camping and using gas cook tops or just having a campfire will eventually be looking over their shoulder too). If the voters keep voting these nutters into power, the use of fossil fuels will be a thing of the past. Extrapolating this agenda out to its nature conclusion under Socialism, the use of diesel/petrol/gas-powered vehicles and farm machinery will also be a thing of the past. Australia is a very decentralised country, so anyone living in rural or remote areas should be wondering how they are going to maintain a rual lifestyle. Socialism can not abide a decentralised independent population, Socialism needs a centralised population to be able to effectively control it.The removal of fossil fuel use will drive people back into the towns and cities. Does anyone really think that a rural lifestyle or farming generally will be viable (other than perhaps for the wealthy or the largest of farming operations) using unaffordable solar/wind or yet to be developed hydrogen powered) electric cars/tractors/pumps ect? The future is plain to see if you are looking.
