I would guess around AUD$25k to $30k/t would justify re-starting up Windarra however they may want to wait a month or two for the Ni price to stabilize at these levels before a decision is made. Probably don't want to rush in to early. At least it is easy and cheap to get rigs at the moment.
We still could see a short term spike in the Ni price and a possible retrace.
I would estimate the production cost for Windarra would be around the US$4-6lb. However I am sure they would be looking at a possible 2nd hand plant.
My gut feeling is Leinster as that mine is nearing a close, has a lot of safety issues and BHP still may yet be pulling out of the Ni game.
