Chinese New Year Public Holiday 2024: Officially, Chinese people will have a 8-day holiday from spring festival to the seventh day of the lunar new year. In 2024, the New Year public holiday is from Feb. 10th to Feb 17th. However, holiday break can last longer - up to 16 days & celebrations culminate with the Lantern Festival on February 24th, 2024. Hence, investors may possibly expect big announcements, rather than big meetings with Chinese partners during this time.
South Korean partners (POSCO) also have national holidays Feb 9th to Feb 12th.
