Agree.

There are plenty of things the company can say, without compromising the corporate and commercial negotiations that are going on behind the scenes.

So, they don't wish to advise about flow rates, the CP, or the current reserves just at the moment - fine.

However, much can be said to pacify the natives, that alludes to what is going on, without giving away anything sensitive.

"All 4 pilots continue to perform very well and at or above expectation. For commercial sensitivity reasons, the exact flows will not be published at this time..."

How to say something, without actually saying something.

What DC and the gang have to understand is that they know the end game strategy... shareholders do not. We have a fair idea, especially those sophisticated investors on here who have the time to spend on research. But many are left with just 'faith' in management.

DC may well be doing the best by shareholders, in maximising the return at the end of the ESG story... but ESG must also consider the information needs of shareholders currently. Even a loyal shareholder could lose patience if they are not party to at least a hint of ESG's vision (the real one, not the pravda version). These shareholders need something to hang their hat on so they remain shareholders.

I am in ESG til the end, whenever that may be. Because the resource is truly world-class, and the value gap between the price and the value is enormous.

(Even the natives over at Hillgrove will be getting restless. They have clearly been doing the go-slow on the Kanmantoo project, because they know a top-up is coming and do not want to commit to hedging finance when they will shortly be able to completely self fund.)
