IMO, obviously PVD didn't just wake up thinking it would be a good idea to start buying shares in JKA. Therefore JKA had an acquisition of some sort lined up and ready to go, obviously believing there would be no issues with the ASX hence leaving it till the last minute before the deadline to announce.

This year more than ever the ASX is scrutinising potential projects, acquisitions etc like never before. Look at CMY HOG etc...

So its not hard to join the dots here IMO....

The ASX said "no go"....Max probably thought a tweak to the deal might get it over the line....which it hasn't (as its been 3 months)

so that "material oil and gas acquisition" must be dead leaving PVD and us hoping for a miracle to be pulled out of Max's ass...

i might be wrong but this makes logical sense to me, having seen this scenario a few times this year
