Just a pain blocker which as you say will not change the underlying pathology so may even add to the destruction of joints even faster. After all pain is there for a reason.
Good to see new forms of pain meds rather than opioid based treatments coming along though.

At the moment it still seems our only potential near term competition is from bio Splice (lorecivivint) who basically are trying to salvage the drug based on signals seen in the previous two phase three studies (which from memory didn't achieve stat significance?)

I think in the latest phase 3 they are concentrating on a cohort of KOA that is in the mild category so may only be part competition for us anyway if they succeed?
