@Johilo returned; look more closely and you'll realise that I've NOT applauded Labor for what's been done to the resourcing of public education.

It's my assessment that Labor's prime concern in education for many decades has been resourcing the Catholic System - that even including Julia Gillard's government and her claim to be an atheist.

In contrast to Labor, the focus of the Coalition has been pouring taxpayers' money into already obscenely over-resourced, highly privileged, deeply elitist, non value-adding, single-sex bastions of education apartheid.

Yet two thirds of Aussie kids still attend public schools while their private school counterparts are fed a daily diet of being indoctrinated into the mindset that "You're SPECIAL - public school kids are not!".

Now analyse which system pollies went through, where they send their kids and where they stand on funding public schools.
