    The performance of students in highly select-entry schools reflects the reality that students are already greatly advantaged, heavily resourced and have highly aspirational parents.

    Private schools are NOT value-adding enterprises and indeed few 'private schools' will even enrol students with 'learning issues', let alone those with disabilities for fear that the meaningless, predictable performance figures they spew out will be impacted.
