    Most of those are poor private schools that provide low fees for the parents to provide the kind of education they want for their kids.....not one that is determined for them to promote the interest of politicians. For example, low cost religious schools, aboriginal schools, many catholic schools supporting low income families, alternative schools, schools for drop outs from the government system of one brand fits all..........
    A few of the wealthy private schools have been supported for generations by parents, ex students and community members. Government funding for private wealthy schools is mostly directed to salaries for staff and capital for buildings raised by parents and supporters.
    Basic data can easily be used selectively to press home a point. How is the funding deployed, to whom, and how is used would be a more realistic analysis and does the this mean compared to government schools including capital works, maintenance, services provided by district offices and central services ? Your comment is so simplistic that it only fools the gullible ones.
