All schools should be funded equally for each child they teach, unless they have 'special needs'. If parents want to pay to send their children to private school that's their choice. The fees they pay should go 100% to providing a better education not covering an underfunding by the government. If the private school is able to fund raise from private donors or ex students so be it, State schools are also able to do that.
