Tooluck. Please explain why you are happy with executive options more than TRIPLING from 578,721 at 30 June 07 to 2,153,418 at 30 June 2008, given the erosion in shareholders wealth from 30 June 07 to 30 June 08.

Of course RSV & Lani2 is exciting. So was the orbital exciting. Their ignition system that could potentially revolutionarise the combustion engine at the time Peter Cook joint OEC. Under Cook did the deals make money for shareholders? If it did why did the share price plunged from $0.70 to $0.10 when he left?

Share buy back at low prices can be good with good management who reward themselves with increasing executive options despite poor management performance. And when they suspended the share buyback they failed their duty to inform the market. Without the sharebuyback, the sp dropped and the timing coincided (by chance or by design?)with the issuing of free shares and options to management.
Read at my earlier post showing how hollow the reasons that were given for suspending the share buy back!

Again like the timing of the suspension, tell us the resumption is not associated with bringing up the sp for the coming AGM!! Look at the buyback announcements - the buyback is about 55% of the daily turnover of the shares!! Show us a reputable healthy company that buy back 55% of the turnover of their share each day! A buy back will naturally provide support for the sp BUT the last thing good management should do is to drive up sp for share buy backs! To buy at 55% of the volume of turn over is not what good management should do. Just as you rightly point out, the lower the buy back price the better value it is for the company.
