The Company wishes to advise that it has received notification from Ophir Energy plc that they will not be exercising their option to acquire a 25 percent interest in FAR’s Rufisque, Sangomar and Sangomar Deep Offshore licences in Senegal.
As a result of the decision FAR retains its 90% interest in the blocks. Discussions are continuing with a number of potential farm-in partners with the objective of securing a commitment to drill an exploration well.
