It was always 50/50 that this would be the outcome.Either this or an extension of the option until the decree came through.Better to rip that band-aid right off.However my conspiracy theory du jour is that certain parties are delaying the decree deliberately hoping that FAR will drop the lease and they can re-assign it for a big signing bonus.They know FAR cannot afford to hold it forever without finding a drilling partner and without a decree they cant find one.Death by a thousand cuts.Business has always been done a certain way in Africa and some things never change.Just my opinion
