The XJO closed lower on Thursday, where spread narrowed, but volume remained above average.
The Index is now back below the line @5901.8 and back into the relative safety of the previous trading range.
Once again price dipped lower soon after the open, however the much narrower spread, above average volume, and midbar close suggests that an attempt to support the market has taken place. I often say that 'speculative' support may have come in when we see price action such as this, but as the volume was quite decent on Thursday, it may be more than just some speculative positioning.......we'll see....
