I’ve yet to come across a ‘single use’ plastic bag. You won’t in our house!

@picastoc I ALWAYS take my own bags when going to the supermarket. ‘When going...’ being the operative words here ... I most always leave them in the car!!! This whole issue of supermarkets and plastic bags, imo, is dollar-focused. On the weekend I bought some plastic bags from the supermarket for the kitchen ... they’re still selling the same plastic bags they always have ... there were no biodegradable ones available!!! Next they’ll be receiving environmental awards ... seeming to do good, but not actually doing good!

We often pull plastic bags out of the waterway near our house. It is lazy, careless, delinquent people who put them there. Look what happened to the streets of Singapore when they introduced fines for littering ... it is an incredibly clean City. Are there fines for plastic bag dumping on land and water ... if not, there should be.

    Cheers ...
