    None of the plastic in waterways comes from this household either. And I have to say that I get annoyed when I see photos supposedly of our beaches and waterways chocked with rubbish, when they are actually areas of Indonesia or Thailand etc. being portrayed as our local area. Misleading. However, regarding fines for littering, there are fines and they are substantial I believe there are people in Brisbane ( mostly nightclubbers) who have been fined over $200 for dropping a cigarette butt. This is just opportunistic revenue raising IMO.
