Can't help myself but tell the story I have told before about my biggest embarrassment ever. It involved standing on top of an escalator at Chadstone, carrying string bag which broke and down came the cream bottle, spurting cream from the top to the base of the escalator. No-one in front of me, fortunately. Cream slopped up, step by receding step at the foot of the escalator. I stepped over the mess......the cream, I noted, got dirtier and dirtier as I arrived at my inevitable destination. I don't recall acting like a hero afterwards, but too long ago to recall......
Some materials I have here are very pretty and I have stitched several shopping bags. The check-out ladies look amused at my collection of bags, same material, but different shapes and sizes. They have a giggle.... Fabric shops have curtain samples which they sell off and they make great bags. I think they are more stylish than a bag advertising Coles and Woolworths, lol.
