Why are going to extremes?
The problem with plastic is the stuff that ends up in our waterways and oceans.
Do you dump your rubbish in these places?
Personally, I won't stop using clingwrap to cover food in the fridge. We burn the plastic with other burnable refuse. Any recyclable bottle, steel,etc goes to the tip for free.
