Hi Easy to answer When has any government removed a revenue raising tax unless it is replacing it with another Tax . When the Hawke Keating Government introduced this tax Compulsory Super was only about to come in . With this massive 40 percent grab they have not considered the effects on the millions of people who have their super funds also the Future Fund and the ongoing effect this will have. As I have commented before I am not against this type of tax but the way that it is being presented and what the use of the monies will be Cheers Towie As I understand this tax will also apply over and above the Rent Resource Tax on our Offshore Oil and gas Projects .
