Certainly in the short term production numbers will have an influence on the day to day share price. However, the larger influence will be any significant increase in 2P reserves as this directly underpins the asset value of the stock.
An analogy is Buru Energy which is having success in WA with the wet gas drilling in Valhalla. I think this stock is around $700 million cap and one would envisage that production/marketing of wet gas products from that location would have some challenges over MAD.
