    Some posters are in self denial of reality and practicality LOL.

    We have two phones on our copper service, one corded phone (powered from the service) and the other a 240V cordless.

    We have have the corded phone as a backup when power failures - some times for many hours.

    It is not just about using it to phone out, but for others to phone in.

    Conroy will have to come up with a better solution than 2 hours.
