Billabong are changing the way they are selling their clothes this season. Previously they made catalogues/ samples and showed the retailer who bought from this. This season they are going down the fast fashion road of no samples or full catalogues just pictures to show the retailer. The projected sales are down significantly so much that Shannan North the Global brand manager and Neil Fiske the CEO came to Australia to find out why. The management were told that sales would initially drop and then hopefully recover. I think that this will hurt the 2016- 2017 final reports so much that they can not return to profit this year. You have been warned shareholders.
