When all that the religious think they know about G.d, the spiritual dimension, life after death and even the non-physical nature of Jesus, is removed there is nothing left. If the RC want purgatory, let them have it. Heaven and hell and all in between are figments of the imagination. They may be states of being, but they are definitely not places.

Your Christian task for today is to meet a RC and show them love and kindness. This will be your first step towards heaven.
