The bottom end of the market is stuffed. In the 80's and 90's, guys had a wife and kids at 25 and were made responsible younger. Now if you're mid 20's and married people look at you funny like you are from some weird religious sect. From 20-25 people are studying and from 23-30 people are traveling/sharing rent/still at home.

It's not like the old days when Frank the panel beater married Bev the checkout chick at age 20 and went got themselves a mortgage. Wake up you old fuddy duddy's. Times have changed, all these cheap homes you think the first home buyers should be buying are nowhere near where they should be. There's no incentive to go out and hibernate in the outer suburbs to make a life with a woman they'll probably divorce in 15 years just as there parents had done.

Marriage is no longer trendy and either is a ball and chain mortgage.
