-are saying that many parts of the economy are in bad shape ( I agree with you completely)

- are saying interest rates will stay there they are. The same level of interest rates that have caused the market to slow, and in many areas, start declining (Perth down 7.5% nominal, 10.4% real), for example.

So you are arguing in your post that you expect prices to continue decreasing, it seems? Or are you arguing that they will get worse, and accelerate (as the data for Perth indicates, for example).
