The whole of Santos is now worth close to just the value in its stake in PNG LNG, including the billions in debt reduction from the recent CR. The shorter's are having a field day (scaring holders into selling on the cheap), at the end of the day underlying value will prevail. Yes it is ugly at the moment but I wouldn't be surprised if Scepter cam back opportunistically at around the 4.30-4.50 mark.. Best look away today, time heals all.. Ultimately the lower price of oil will be offset by a lower dollar and revenue about to start coming in.
