Can't locate the exact article but there is a recent article floating around HC somewhere about the lifeline extension of a Spanish reactor. The reactor was supposed to be closed as part of a Fukushima knee jerk, but once a rational study of energy security, safety checks, employment, pros/cons etc was carried out they decided to extend the life of the plant to 2020 or so.
